About Me

I am a Canadian living in Seattle. I moved to California after my first son was born in 2012 and then to Seattle in 2018. During my 10 year career as a financial analyst and accountant, I had many adventures. I lived in Winnipeg Manitoba for one really cold winter to work for an insurance company, then moved to Bermuda, to work in the hedge fund industry and finally, found my way to Calgary Alberta to work at an energy company on a trading floor.

In 2018 I decided to enroll in the University of Washington Coding Boot Camp. As a stay at home mom of two very active young boys, I wanted to challenge myself and learn a new skill. I love having the skills to build applications that solve everyday problems.
